CEO, FOUNDER, AND ULTIMATE VISIONARY FOR BACKFLIP GYMNASTICS - KATIE CANNON

Katie started Backflip Gymnastics in 2008 after seeing first-hand what the incredible world of Gymnastics has done for her. See more of Katie’s story here.

Katie wanted to give as many children the opportunity to participate in gymnastics at a fun level, to increase their Fitness, Confidence, and Skills.

Since 2008, Backflip has gone from schools, and village halls to the bright, fun centers you see today.

OUR DYNAMIC COACHING TEAM AT BACKFLIP

CENTRE MANAGER

We have Centre Manager, Head coach, assistant coaches, and young trainee coaches. Our Centre Manager is specifically trained in management, leadership, health, and safety and have substantial experience teaching in the world of gymnastics. Our Centre Manager go through a rigorous training process including our Backflip University Programme. Responsible for leading team within the centre, planning and delivering high-class lessons in line with our high-class syllabus, and ensuring the centre runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

ASSISTANT HEAD COACHES

Our coaches have been carefully selected for their experience, energy, enthusiasm, and gymnastic coaching expertise. All coaches go through our Backflip University Programme and receive rigorous regular training to ensure all classes are delivered to our high-level syllabus.
